About Kate
Kate is a survivor and advocate supporting victims of adult clergy sexual abuse. She wants to use the insight and hope she gained through her experience of abuse and God’s rescue from it to help others.
Kate works as an attorney at BozLaw, P.A., and she serves as one of the founders and directors of Restored Voices Collective.
“Katie” began going by “Kate” when she went to law school. Her father, who was an attorney and was killed in a car crash when she was a child, envisioned her going by “Kate” as an adult. It was a great idea, and she took him up on it when she followed in his footsteps. However, she still welcomes people who have known her as “Katie” to continue calling her by that name.
